Icy Love | Harford County, Maryland Photographer

Just wanted to pop on today and show you the neatest thing that my daughter Brianna and I found in our driveway today.  I love when nature (or possibly just my uneven driveway) does things like this!  It is the last day of January, and the girls and I spent last night preparing and addressing Valentine’s Day cards.  How fun to see this little patch of ice on our way out the door for school this morning.

It may be because we lived in Arizona for 8 years, but I just knew I had to capture it.  And yes, I embellished with the arrow.  Here are the girls cards we put together last night.  Brianna took so much care to write each of the names “fancy”.  These templates were from a design shop I love called The Album Cafe.

I wasn’t actually going to make them these kind of cards, but a friend of mine planted the seed and I’m glad I ended up doing it.  It’s nice to do something “special” for Valentine’s Day in a way that doesn’t involve candy.  🙂
